TEXTILE ENGINEER

Overview:
A Textile Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving textile products and processes. This role involves working with fibers, fabrics, and textile machinery to create innovative materials and ensure quality control. The Textile Engineer collaborates with other engineers, designers, and production teams to achieve high standards in textile manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:
– Design and develop new textile products, including fibers, yarns, fabrics, and non-woven materials.
– Conduct research on raw materials and processes to improve product quality and functionality.
– Innovate and experiment with different textile manufacturing techniques and technologies.

– Conduct research to identify new materials, applications, and techniques in the textile industry.
– Participate in R&D projects and contribute to the development of innovative textile solutions.
Collaboration and Communication:
– Work closely with designers, production staff, and other engineers to integrate new designs and processes.
– Communicate technical information and project updates to stakeholders.
– Provide technical support and training to production teams and other departments.
Sustainability and Compliance:
– Develop and implement sustainable textile manufacturing practices.
– Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
– Promote the use of eco-friendly materials and processes in textile production.

Qualifications:

Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in textile engineering or a related field.
– Experience with textile manufacturing processes, machinery, and materials.
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of textile fibers, fabrics, and production techniques.
– Proficiency in using textile design software and machinery. – Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
